The mission
To remind the world that there is ALWAYS hope through art. Despite what we see and experience, we can alter our perception of the world by activating the light, love and joy within, through art and music, to overcome adversity.

The Series
An annual art & performance series, open to everyone
2026 marks the first year of many to come. Every summer we’ll bring artistic workshops to youth and their families, paired with live bands and vocalists who inspire the creative process. Attendees discover healthy, hopeful outlets for self-expression through art and music at Arena Stage, the DC Wharf, and Tiki TNT, with more venues and acts announced as plans progress.

After the listening party, we head to Tiki TNT for a night of music and good food, with DJs curating a sonic experience for every guest.
The Wharf
A spectacular event on the transit pier with live music and local vendors, followed by a movie night screening of “Into the Spider-Verse” with Shaolin Jazz, and an after party hosted by Cantina Bambina.

For over 15 years, Projectivity has worked with public and private schools, juvenile justice programs, and social service agencies, helping young adults develop a passion for media and the arts, build confidence and leadership skills, gain employment in creative careers, and give back through public art projects.
Every donation to Summer of Hope is tax deductible through Projectivity.
The Goal
Every dollar teaches a young person the healing power of art
To make this happen, we’re leaning on good people and organizations. We want to partner with individuals and organizations who wish to create positive change in the Washington, DC area through the healing tools of art, music, and the creative process.
